Lighting by Plum's philosophy

Creating and installing decadent lighting that can be controlled with the latest technological advances is the perfect pairing. We aim to be brave enough not to light and design with the contrast of dark as well as light. We look to establish a connection between the user and their home to ensure the lighting enhances the space. This involves using lighting to lead the user through the home, establishing subtle wayfinding and lighting a room sympathetically and creatively according to its use and style.

We understand that your home is more than the bricks and mortar it’s created with. It’s about the feeling you get when you walk through the door and how the mood of a room can reflect your own feelings. That’s why Lighting by Plum uses light to create beautiful spaces that are flexible, comfortable, and striking.

✨ Floor Washers & Wayfinding 👀Using floor washers and night lights to 'wayfind' is an important consideration for any home. Particularly for children and when there are stairs to navigate in the dark. These types of fitting come in many shapes and sizes and we like them to be as discreet as possible. Some key considerations:▪️Low output & dimming - you just want a very low glow
▪️Minimal glare - using a shield and tilt to avoid a blinding light
▪️Beam angle - depending on location (stairs vs landings)
▪️Bezel finish - so it blends inLet us support you and make sure you get the most suitable fitting for your home. 'Specification Sessions' are bookable in our bio ☝️#WayFinding #NightLight #LowLevelLighting #LightingDesign #FloorLight

Sometimes... just eye-catching feature, such as this circular mirror, can provide all the light that you need.We set the mirror off the wall - just enough - so we could integrate a flexible LED tape behind (note, IP rated...waterproof!)The reflected light then bounces back off the walls, floor and ceiling! Perfect illumination 💡The addition of a pendant from @tala just adds that touch of decorative elegance ✨Before designing the lighting for your home... 'think' ...what features could I highlight? If in need of some inspiration...why not give us a call? 📞 01494 258738#FeatureLighting #BathroomLighting #MirrorLight #ContemporaryBathroom #LightingDesign
